Season 2: Episode 4 -
Kayla Croft
In 2018, Kayla Croft’s brother-in-law Flip came to her with an idea for a cannabis company offering quality products with a focus on social justice and giving back. A partnership between the two of them made sense as they share a lot of the same values, interests, and drive. Later that year, Goodekind was born. Their initial vision has evolved so much over the last few years, but the team have finally built a line of quality hemp products with a message they are proud of.
Before Goodekind, Kayla built a career in sound recording - first at music venues and recording studios in Austin, TX and ultimately as a sound mixer for film and TV in Los Angeles. The film industry is what brought her to LA, but she’s always had an interest in the cannabis industry and saw potential opportunities once she made it to Cali. Aside from getting to take part in the wild ride that is the growth of the cannabis industry, she’s most excited by the opportunity to deliver therapeutic effects and relief to others while fulfilling her lifelong goal of building a better world.
