Busayo NYC is a brooklyn-based fashion brand founded by designer Busayo Olupona in 2011. Her styles draw inspiration from her home of Nigeria where the garments are still crafted. Mixing traditions with present techniques, Busayo NYC is known for its beautiful textiles and prints that connect the past with the present. With a focus on African fashion, Busayo NYC collections feature beautiful contemporary prints and ready-to-wear silhouettes. Olupona built her fashion label, which she started in 2011, on the side of her career as a lawyer, and she still practices today.
