Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, it was during her high school years where Tedra Wilson known as TT The Artist  discovered her fearless approach to performance. A college-graduate from The Maryland Institute College Of Art (MICA) with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and a concentration in video, she postponed pursuing a career in music to make education her number one priority.

While attending MICA in Baltimore, MD, TT The Artist  became very involved within various community projects and student organizations within the Baltimore Community. Baltimore soon became her second home. Baltimore enabled her to test the waters and create a reputable name for herself within the local music scene. By the end of her junior year at MICA, she had successfully secured an internship at MTV Networks in New York, NY where she explored her interest in television production both in front of the camera and behind the scenes. After two years of living in New York, she  returned to Baltimore to further pursue her passion in music.

Today, TT The Artist's music can be heard in regular rotation on local and international radio. She has rocked  crowds with her fist pumping and high energy performances sharing stages nationally and globally with artists such as Big Freedia, Peaches, Crystal Waters and more.
