Global Visionaries
This month, we’re proud to shine a spotlight on two remarkable women who exemplify leadership, creativity, and purpose. Flavia Cassani and Mercy Guzmán come from different corners of the world, but share a common drive to uplift others and redefine their industries. From pioneering wellness innovations in California’s cannabis space to transforming global brands from her studio in Barcelona, these Leading Ladies are not only shaping the future—they're doing it with heart, vision, and an unwavering commitment to community.
Flavia Cassani: Co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
This month, we’re excited to highlight Flavia Cassani. Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Flavia is a wellness entrepreneur, environmental advocate, mother, and former competitive athlete with a multicultural background shaped by life in Latin America, Europe, and the U.S. Her adventurous, health-conscious lifestyle is rooted in a deep connection to nature and a strong belief in human potential. As co-founder of Flow Kana, a top Californian cannabis flower brand, Flavia helped transform the industry alongside her husband, Michael “Mikey” Steinmetz, by creating a model focused on sustainability, transparency, and equity. Today, she brings that same passion and purpose to FK+, a brand that blends cannabis with adaptogenic mushrooms and nootropic herbs to help people focus better, sleep deeper, and live more fully. Now living in Miami with her husband Mikey and their two children, Flavia continues to lead with intention, vision, and heart.

2. Mercy Guzmán, Founder and Creative Director of The Visual Corner
Meet standout creative force Mercy Guzmán. As the founder of The Visual Corner, a boutique branding studio based in Barcelona, Mercy helps premium brands around the world tell their stories with clarity, purpose, and elegance. Originally from the Dominican Republic, her journey began during a time of personal reinvention as a new mother, which sparked her path into design and brand strategy. Today, she brings over a decade of experience to her work, crafting brand experiences that go beyond visuals to capture the true essence of each client. Mercy is also deeply committed to empowering women in creative industries. She founded Femmes Creativas, a Barcelona-based event series for female creatives, which is relaunching this fall, and she now leads the “Women & Branding” community at Juno House Club. Alongside her studio work, she teaches at Artidi, LABASAD, and IED, sharing her expertise with the next generation of designers. Inspired by her life near the Mediterranean and her multicultural family, Mercy continues to lead with intention, authenticity, and a clear creative vision.
