Power in true pride

As Pride Month comes to a close, we want to take a moment to honor and celebrate some extraordinary trans women who have made a powerful impact across creative, cultural, and activist spaces. From the art of drag to frontline advocacy, these women are not only trailblazing artists but also visionary entrepreneurs and thought leaders, inspiring communities around the world.

  1. Raquel Willis- Author, Activist, Co-Founder of Gender Liberation Movement, TIME100 Honoree

Raquel Willis is a force in the fight for trans and queer liberation. As co-founder of the Gender Liberation Movement (GLM), she works tirelessly to protect and uplift trans rights across the United States. Her powerful voice and fearless leadership earned her a spot on TIME’s list of 100 most influential people of the year.

Raquel's activism is both strategic and deeply personal—most recently demonstrated when she and fellow trans advocates were arrested during a protest against the Supreme Court's decision in the Skermetti case, which threatens access to gender-affirming care for trans youth.

In addition to her frontline work, Raquel is a bestselling author. Her memoir, The Risk It Takes to Bloom, offers a poignant, powerful reflection on her journey growing up Black and trans in the South, and the experiences that shaped her into the activist she is today.

2. Sasha Colby - Drag Icon, Dancer, Cannabis Entrepreneur

Hailing from Hawaii, Sasha Colby is known as the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 15 and Miss Continental 2012. A beloved figure in the drag world, she’s also the iconic drag mother of pop sensation Chappell Roan—inspiring the viral line: "I'm your favorite artist’s favorite artist."

This Pride Month, Sasha launched her debut cannabis product in partnership with queer-owned brand FLAMER. Her “Sasha Colby Kush” pre-rolls have received glowing reviews, marking her bold entrance into the world of cannabis entrepreneurship. Alongside her product launch, Sasha is currently on tour with Stripped II, captivating audiences across North America and Europe while spotlighting local dancers in each city. With every performance and product, Sasha continues to encourage her fans to embrace authenticity and live unapologetically.
